Yu run Yang (1932-2015), musicologist, professor, doctoral supervisor. From 1952 to 1960, he studied composition and musicology at the Central Conservatory of Music and the University of Warsaw in Poland. After returning to China in 1960, he taught at the Central Conservatory of Music.
