The Double Happiness Concert received a great success accompanied by the joint efforts of both sides. The President of University of Adelaide attended the concert and said after the concert that, he hoped the University of Adelaide and the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing would improve the cooperation and communication continually. Composer Stephen Whittington also hoped that Orient String Quartet would perform his composition in the course of his visit at CCOM in November 2017.
