Students of Elementary and Middle School affiliated to CCOM Win Prizes in the 17th Kloster Schontal International Competition for Violin

In just closed 17th International Competition for Violin at Kloster Schontal(English: Schontal Abbey), Su Mingxuan, a student from the Elementary School of CCOM, won the Third Prize of Age Group I(advisor: Professor Tong Weidong); Luo Chaowen, a student from the Middle School of CCOM, won the Second Prize of Age Group II(advisor: Professor Wang Hong); Liu Kuo and Wang Kaixiang, two students from the Middle School of CCOM, won the Special Prize of Age Group II(advisors: Professor Xie Nan and Wang Hong). They won an honor for our school.

Kloster Schontal International Competition for Violin has been found over 30 years and it is held once every two years. In the 17th Kloster Schontal International Competition for Violin, there are almost 100 participants from over 20 countries and regions who participate in the intense competition of three rounds in 9 days. The Competition has become one of the competitions with great influences in Europe.
