
On the afternoon of May 19th, Ms. Sabine Meyer, the renowned German clarinetist, and Trio Di Clarone, founded by Ms. Meyer, will visit the Central Conservatory of Music and hold a masterclass for clarinet major students of orchestral instrument department.
Ms. Meyer is acknowledged as one of the best contemporary clarinetists in the world. She worked with numerous world-renowned orchestras, such as Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra, French Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, etc.; and many renowned conductors, such as Claudio Abbado, Charles Dutoit, Christoph Eschenbach, Kurt Masur, etc.
In 1983, Ms. Meyer founded Trio Di Clarone, the other two members are her brother Wolfgang Meyer and her husband Reiner Wehle. The Trio is a successful and unique ensemble and has held over one hundred and fifty concerts in Europe.
